As we enter the last week of 2016, it is a good time to share our year in review.  Weather played a memorable part of 2016.  We started the year with an ice storm which brought down tree limbs and power lines.  Many of us were without power which caused some frozen pipes and water heaters.  The summer brought a few summer storms and hail to parts of our area.  Then came the rain from Hurricane Matthew.  Though the storm never came onshore in North Carolina, we saw major flooding, power outages and damage that many are still recovering from 3 1/2 months later.

We’ve worked on fire restoration jobs that resulted from lightning damage, car malfunctions and golf cart battery explosions in addition to the more common grease fires.  Our drying equipment recorded a record number of drying hours this year as a result of all the water damage emergency service calls we responded to.  We are proud to have been able to service over 400 restoration jobs this year while maintaining a 94.9% customer satisfaction rating of extremely satisfied.  It has been a honor to work with each homeowner and business owner this year.

Finally, our year in review wouldn’t be complete without our commitment to compassion.  In 2016, we’ve had the pleasure to volunteer and work with local charities and organizations throughout the year.  We formed a team and raised money for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in addition to volunteering with organizations such as HAWC, Habitat for Humanity and Special Olympics.

We look forward to building on the relationships formed and strengthened this year to move forward into 2017.  The PHC Restoration team will be ringing in the New Year with our families and the office will be closed on Monday, January 2.  We will have crew members on call in case an emergency arises.  Give us a call at 919-818-2582.
