On Saturday, April 28, 2012 the Harnett County Health Department had a major waterline break, which resulted in approximately 80% of the first floor being flooded. Currently cleanup efforts are underway. Plans are to provide a temporary mobile unit later this week which will provide access to health services. However, for today Monday, April 30, 2012 the Harnett County Health Department is closed.

Join us as we say thank you and happy retirement to long time employee Kate Siletzky. Kate joined PHC in 1984 not long after we opened our doors. Kate wore many hats for PHC over the years. She has primarily been our accountant, but she also wrote estimates on numerous fire and water damage jobs, answered phones taking losses as they were phoned in and then got the job information to managers long before cell phones were available.

Usually, doing laundry and having to return to work are the only stresses you face when you return home from a long weekend or spring break at the beach. Unfortunately, this was not the case for one of our homeowners in the Raleigh area. PHC started a job over the weekend for a family who had just returned from the beach to find water flowing out of their house. A plumbing problem caused water to run for an unknown amount of time resulting in water damage to both the floor coverings and the subflooring in their home.Continue reading this post...

Most of us in central North Carolina remember where we were on April 16, 2011 when the deadly tornadoes touched down in Sanford, Raleigh, Fayetteville and other areas of the triangle area. Spring officially sprung this week bringing with it warmer weather, budding flowers and trees, lots of pollen and the threat of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms. In efforts to provide even better customer service to both the homeowners we work with and their insurance companies, PHC is proud to announce that last month, we rolled out a Photo Inventory system as our new way to document, store and inventory homeowner contents digitally.
